Wisconsin vs Michigan State: Start Time, TV Channel, Big Ten basketball game

Time for revenge or it’s too early? Wisconsin Badgers will not allow this time to be crumpled by the Michigan State Spartans in a college basketball showdown Thursday. Badgers have improved lately and that they are ready for a battle that will pave the way for them to have a legitimate shot in dispatching the Spartans. However, it will not come that easy the Spartans showed in the past 10 games that they are one of the contenders.

Wisconsin will treat this basketball game as the barometer of what level have they really emerge as far as the improvements of the team. Riding in a four-streak road wins, the Badgers are determined to make the statement that they can play tougher this time around against a much stronger and bigger Michigan State. Badgers also have to forget about that controversial game more than a month ago so that they can concentrate on how to overthrow the Spartans.

In that game, Wisconsin looked like they tied the game through the illustrious 3-pointer of Ryan Evans at the buzzer but it was determined by the officials that it was not counted and that the Spartans won 63-60. It was a test of stamina and brilliancy in the coaching staff but it all ended for the Michigan State. Badgers have to see this game as a challenge and that they can play better than that of the last game.

A prolific performance by Jordan Taylor who scored 28 points for the Badgers against the Spartans. Taylor has been consistently playing for the Badgers on the road as he drilled in 27 points against Minnesota Gophers last Thursday. He has been playing with such greatness on the road as they dismantled the Gophers 68-61 in overtime. Furthermore, he will be the key component for the Badgers in tonight’s game and that he must have to have his A game for his team to win.

Meanwhile, the Spartans have the advantage by playing at home as they were never beaten by the Badgers for a long time dating back 2002. Coach Tom Izzo knows exactly how to pull the trigger for his team to have the edge most specifically for his players to have the focus. Michigan State has played great defensively in the past games especially clobbering Ohio State by allowing 26.4 percent shooting.

Michigan State Spartans will not only have the offensive attacks but they can play defense that can absolutely contain Evans. Also, the Spartans can make it harder for the Badgers as the game progresses because of the physical game.

In the previous game of Michigan State Spartans vs Wisconsin Badgers, Draymond Green scored 18 points and 14 rebounds. Also Keith Appling had 16 points to help the Spartans pulled that victory. It was evident the Green played with passion as he grabbed those rebounds in a way that he never did before. It is a tough task for the Badgers to overpower Green but they can do it through consolidated effort.
