USA vs Japan start time Women’s World Cup final, Abby Wambach can shine once more

The United States women’s soccer team is back in the Women’s World Cup to play the highly talented team of Japan in the final match after three weeks of intensive games. USA reach the final by beating France in the semifinals and delivering the biggest upset in the WWC against Brazil in the semifinals.

Abby Wambach played her best for USA delivering the scores that needed to help the team advance to the final. Surely she will be marked by the Japanese defense for they will not let her be in the comfort zone. Wambach attacked with power and precision in the as she made at least two goals in the last four out of five games. Amazingly, she loves to excel when the game is on the line and she proved that when he made the crucial penalty kicks and goals against Brazil.

The fans of USA soccer team were dissatisfied when they suffered a defeat in the hands of Sweden, 2-1, forcing themselves to an early showdown with the heavily favored Brazil. It seemed that the hope faded because of the fact that the Brazilian team had all the talents, speed, and athleticism. However, a magical win provided USA to chase their dreams of getting into the finals.

One of the bright spot for the USA team is their goal keeper Hope Solo who is reliable to deny the opponent’s possible goals. She made the moves against Brazil and France for the US to win those games.

Meanwhile, the Japanese soccer team found themselves surprised to be in the final for the first time. The defeated Sweden in the semifinals to advance and face the United States. Japan’s strength is on the defensive side of the game which they conceded only a goal in the knock out round paving the way for them to win games. Speed will be the biggest advantage of Japan when they showed it against Sweden.

Japan also has the player that they can go to in the crunch time. Hahomi Kawasumi scored two goals against Sweden and she is expected to perform better in the final. Japan can pull an upset against the favored United States.

Furthermore, the United States soccer team will be playing with the presence of Rachel Buehler who missed the previous game serving suspension. Also Amy Rodriguez might be playing despite of the slump.
