Tigers vs Rangers Score: 10th inning tied
The game of the Detroit Tigers vs Texas Rangers still in a deadlock at 3-3 as the game enters into the 11th inning. When will the game end? A classic in the making as the Tigers want to win to tie the series.
The drama in the American League Championship Series continues as the Detroit Tigers tied 3-3 in the seventh inning through three-run home run of Ryan Raburn in the third inning.
At the bottom of the seventh inning, Nelson Cruz tied the score with a solo shot to left of starter Max Scherzer. The Tigers have difficulties scoring after the first inning but this time Cruz drilled in that shot for the Tigers
Starter Derek Holland pitched only for 2.2 innings because of the Raburn’s shot in the third. Holland threw 76 pitches, 4 hits, 3 ER, and 4 BB for him to sit back as he was relieved Scott Fieldman.
Detroit Tigers were on offensive as the first inning starts when Austin Jackson and Ramon Santiago were on bases. It was a big opportunity for the Tigers with two runners on without outs. However, Delmon Young went on for a popout then consecutive groundouts by Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez never let the Tigers to score at all.
In the second inning the Tigers have the opportunity again to score as the bases loaded. This time Holland showed that he couldn’t last long because of the three walks that he gave. The Tigers never have a chance to make things happen.
It seemed that the Tigers are getting into Holland as the game progresses. In the third inning, Cabrera pulled off to right center for a double that almost went for a homerun. Martinez was hit by Holland with a pitch. This time Raburn never let this chance as he drilled in a homerun.
In the first inning, Max Scherzer gave up two RBI doubles to Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre to make the great start for the Rangers. When he found out how to take care of the business, Scherzer continues to play without giving a run.
