1. Tom Brady – Brady already won three Super Bowls but the last one was in 2004. This season Brady has one of his fruitful year as he reached for over 5,200 passing yards. The success of the Patriots can be attributed to him being in the Super Bowl for the fifth time and winning five of six AFC Championships. He will be sharper as ever and he will make the difference in this game.

In that season Randy Moss was the primary focus of Brady but this season he has two big tight ends, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. Both these tight ends are dominant of their own and the Giants will have a problem matching them because of their size. Gronkowski broke the record of most receptions by a tight end this season and he is one of the reasons why they Patriots will overshadow the Giants in Super Bowl 2012.

They were the ranked 31st in the nation in the regular season that the critics poured their wisdom that Patriots would not be in the Super Bowl. However, as the Patriots contained the Broncos by yielding only 10 points and stopping Ravens from scoring a touchdown in the last seconds of the AFC title game. Patriots defense is being at game to game basis. The defensive scheme depends on what time of offense they face that the preparation be much of weekly. Patriots have two weeks to prepare for the offense of the New York Giants.
4. Hunger factor – Eight years ago when the Patriots won their last Super Bowl. Though they have been in many battles, that was too long the wait. Brady and Deion Branch can relive the past and they can infuse hunger to the whole team. Patriots hunger is one of the determining factor why they will wind up victorious.
5. Bill Belichick mind – In 2008 the Patriots may not have prepared enough because of their stature as 18-0 team. Super Bowl 2012 is different for coach Belichick will bring his mind into the game. There’s no better coach than Belichick in this football era in terms of pushing the buttons and making preparations for the Super Bowl.
