Super Bowl 2012 Kickoff time: The search for Tom Brady’s fourth superbowl ring?
Nothing can stop Tom Brady to win his fourth Super Bowl? This was the same question posted four years ago but the stumbling block for Brady’s fourth Super Bowl was the New York Giants and it is the same team again that will hinder him his dream.
Dream? It is known that Brady’s favorite quarterback is Joe Montana who had four super bowl rings with the San Francisco 49ers. His boyhood idol was Montana whom he patterned his game most especially of being composed at crunchtimes. Brady slowly climbed to the ladder of greatness when he started his four year as a starter winning three super bowls. He posted a ten consecutive playoff wins that never before done by any quarterback.
Before, Brady’s three super bowl rings were not credited to him much because of the New England Patriots defense. Also, his numbers were not that high enough to be compared to anybody. However, the tide on the perspective of many regarding the greatness of Brady changes every season as he has been accumulating numbers after numbers eventhough he doesn’t have great supporting casts in the offensive game. The Patriots have the offensive game but the defense is no longer the focal point. Patriots win games because of Brady’s offensive game and his dominance in the passing arena for the team.
Brady’s name is now being mentioned with the greatest quarterbacks of the NFL. Let’s take for example Montana. Brady will tie Montana and Terry Bradshaw for getting four super bowl rings if the Patriots win. He also break the tie with Montana having 16 wins in the playoffs. He will also tie John Elway for five super bowl appearances. If most of the people still consider Montana as the greatest quarterback ever, then a win by Brady will make him even better Montana.
The spotlight will be on Brady this coming Super Bowl 46 which the start time is scheduled at 6:30 PM ET at the Lucas Stadium Indianapolis, Indiana. Will he get his fourth ring?
In taking a grasp of the New England Patriots, Brady has so many weapons at his disposal for the Super Bowl 2012. First, he will be throwing his passes on tight end Rob Grownkowski. He has been the subject of conversation this week on what’s the degree of effectiveness he will bring to the floor on Sunday as he is recovering from a sprain ankle. With Gronkowski in the New England Patriots, the Giants will have a hard match up. Another player will be Aaron Hernandez who simplified his game being a tight end also.
As the super bowl 2012 kickoff time approaches, there is surely some sort of great preparation for Brady as he feels the pressure to perform well enough to win this super bowl 46.
For Brady having two tight ends playing at the same time will be his advantage. Gronkowski and Hernandez are big receivers and they have the advantage against the Giants defenders. Brady will have also the Super Bowl 2005 MVP Deion Branch. With all the attention on Gronkowski, Branch can make the difference in this Super Bowl 46 if he will not be marked at all. Branch can still leap high for catches and he can make the winning catches for the Patriots. Aside from Branch, Wes Welker cannot be negated for the sake of making a case for Brady of winning this Super Bowl. The speed of Welker on the slots will mattered much for the Patriots. He will be an option for the offense to defy the pass rush of the Giants.
Super Bowl 46 will be about Tom Brady’s winning it and getting his mark as the greatest quarterback ever. For the Giants to deny him the second time around will be a nightmare. Will Brady get his fourth Super Bowl?
Super Bowl kickoff time is at 6:30 PM ET on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana.
