Super Bowl 2012 Game Time: Giants vs Patriots head-to-head matchup

Brady knows how to win tight games and he is considered the most calm quarterbacks of all time. With three Super Bowl rings, 34-year-old, this is time for Brady to win his fourth ring as time is closing on him. What’s at stakes for Brady – a win will give him the stature as the greatest quarterback ever? Brady will not let the Giants to be on him this time around. He will take his chances and he will set his eyes on winning this Super Bowl 2012.

2. Bill Belichick vs Tom Coughlin – There is also the battle of minds for the coaches here. Coughlin was again eluded from being scrutinized as the Giants pulled it together to be in the Super Bowl.

3. Rob Gronkowski vs Hakeem Nicks – With all the attention Gronkowski gets before the start of the Super Bowl 2012, it is hard to believe that the Patriots will have to win without him. Furthermore, Gronkowski is the No 1 receiver of the Patriots and still his status is “day to day”. If Gronkowski is healthy, then he can be as great as anybody.

The deep threat for the Giants will be Nicks as he continues to be impressive not only in the regular season but also in the playoffs. Nicks was the favorite receiver of Manning in that game against Packers in which he captured two long passes that destroyed the momentum of Green Bay.

4. Wes Welker vs Victor Cruz – Wes Welker is the best in slot. His resume tells us that since he was with the Patriots, he became a significant receiver. His career was resurreceted in the offense of Brady.

Victor Cruz will always be one of the most admirable stories in the NFL. He will be in the spotlight as the Patriots will be focused on him on the defensive side. Cruz exploded in the game agains the 49ers and that he will be a mark man in the Super Bowl 2012.

5. Patriots offense vs Giants defense – New England Patriots will always be considered to have the offensive attacks as the offense is capable of making the damages. Patriots offense was tested against the Ravens defense and it will be facing the Giants defense.

Giants will always have to stop Brady from taking over of the game. Surely, the pass rush defense of the Patriots. The battle of the offense of the Patriots and the defense of the Giants will be the most interested thing to see in Super Bowl 2012.
