Reggie Bush to Miami Dolphins

By

New Orleans Saints decided to trade Reggie Bush to the Miami Dolphins in one of the surprises in this NFL free agency 2011. Bush finally reached an agreement of a new two year contract with the Dolphins.

The challenge before a trade would go through was Bush must agree to have a new contract. Reggie Bush is one of the most decorated running back in college playing for USC. He played with speed and precision when he was at the USC playing the offense with quarterback Matt Leinart. He has been in trouble in the past year because of the findings that he received improper benefits when he was with the USC.

Bush won the Heisman Trophy but voluntarily gave up last year after the findings. Bush is gifted with speed that will help the offense to be flexible. Bush also is one of the lethal players that can play receive. In most of the gadget plays of the Saints, Bush always was the anchor.

In order for the Miami Dolphins to compete with the New England Patriots and the New York Jets on its division, the team must have the players needed to have a fast offense. Dolphins running backs last season Ricky Brown and Ricky Williams are on the free agent list.

With the acquisition of Reggie Bush, the Dolphins can use him a punt returner, running back, and receivers. His multi-dimensional talent can help the Dolphins be in the playoffs this season.

However, the only problem for the Dolphins is the the health of Reggie Bush. He only played for eight games last season but he will be a vital component for the Dolphins to be back in contention. Bush won a Super Bowl with the Saints.
