Rangers vs Tigers: Can Texas beat Detroit in Game 3?
The MLB Playoffs 2011 continues as the Texas Rangers meet Detroit Tigers in the American League Championship Series Tuesday. Texas looks for a 3-0 lead as they travel to Detroit for Game 3.
Texas Rangers have the command of the series as they pulled off a stunning 7-3 victory in Game 2 when Nelson Cruz hit the first walkoff grandslam in postseason history in the 11 inning. Cruz also tied the game in the 7th inning with his first homerun.
If the Rangers will have to win the series, Cruz will have to be the MVP because he also homered in Game 1 for the Rangers to win 3-2.
With the pitching duel in place, expect for an explosive Game 3 for both teams. Expect for the a battle in the mound as well as on the batters. A pivotal Game 3, Rangers vs Tigers television coverage is on Fox, Game 3 starts at 8:05 PM ET.
