He drilled in five birdies but he got also four bogeys and nine pars as he didn’t make the necessary attacks but it was enough for him on top.

Adam Scott was so quiet the whole day shooting even par. He didn’t have the same touch that he had in the second round which he was so aggressive in his second shots. This time around, he just managed to make two birdies but negating it with two bogeys. On the positive side, Scott hangs on to stay one stroke behind the leaderboard. He has a shot tomorrow of stealing the title because of his experience and his approach of the game. Scott knows how to stay focus in the last round if he has a deficit as small as this.

Another player that finished at 10-under par four the tournament is Brendan Steele who delivered two eagles, two birdies, and two bogeys for the third round to make him at 4-under for the day. He is one of the players clogged on top to play for aiming for the title tomorrow. Surely, he is capable of winning if he will be aggressive  enough for those eagle opportunities.

Australian Jason Day made the necessary move also just to inch closer on top of the PGA leaderboard. Shooting for 4-under par in the third round, he tackled the course with just few mistakes and he drilled in to save many holes into his advantage. He had three birdies, an eagle, a bogey to complete is momentous day giving him all the chances in the world to overwhelm the field on tomorrow’s final round.

After fading away in the second round, Jim Furyk decided to play at his best in this Deutsche Championship as he shot for 5-under par for the day. He looked so aggressive in the front nine when he made four birdies but he also putted a bogey. In the back nine he was so quiet with two birdies and seven pars. His performance today makes him two shots short of Bubba.

World’s No 1 golfer Luke Donald didn’t make that big move but his performance for the day, 3-under par is enough for him to have a shot at the title in the final round. Donald putted an eagle and a birdie in the front nine as he was anticipated to make the necessary adjustments. However, he went on defensive in the back nine with a birdie, a bogey and seven pars.

Big name like Ernie Els was comfortable to stay even for the day. He struggled to make birdie putts as he drilled in only two birdies but he also made two bogeys. Els currently is four shots behind the leader but it is still possible for him to make the final round his.

Barclays champion Dustin Johnson managed to keep his composure when he made mistakes in the par 3 third hole when he putted for tripple bogey. It seemed that he couldn’t be back playing with toughness because of that hole but he continued to dig deep making five birdies in the rest of the holes. Johnson finished 4-under par for the day, 7-under par for the tournament.

One of the players with bogeyless performance is Gary Woodland drilling in five birdies and 13 pars to complete the day. He was flawless in his preparations and he played with toughness saving those holes that should’ve been bogey.
