Until now Floyd Mayweather has no apology at all in his controversial fight against Victor Ortiz last Saturday. Though many expected him not to be apologetic at all because he believes what he did was the right way.
Mayweather defeated Ortiz in the fourth round in a controversial ending via a “cheap shot” that caught Ortiz unguarded. With the demand of the millions of boxing fans for Mayweather to apologize, he will not do it. Mayweather believes that it was Ortiz who played “dirty” for throwing an intentional headbutt. Because of that, in the fourth round when Ortiz seemed apologizing to the ref, he received the knockout punches of Mayweather that never let him on his feed after 10 counts from ref Cortez.
Millions were disappointed on how Mayweather behaved in that bout. According to many, it was an unsportsmanlike move that destroyed his opponent without even giving him the chance. Furthermore, it was not worth the money they paid for the PPV.
With all the experts looking at what transpired, many want to have a rematch. But most of the people wanted Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao in 2012. With all the controversies surrounding Mayweather, it will be always a dream watch for all the fans to see these two players.
Mayweather thinks wise enought because he knows that Pacquiao can beat him? Pacquiao will fight Juan Marquez this November and if he prevails, the Mayweather-Pacquiao is expected.
