Mayweather vs Ortiz: HBO full replay on Saturday

A week ago the boxing world anticipated the biggest boxing fight of the year between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz. A week is gone and the talk of the fans still on what had taken place in that controversial fight.

Thousands of people watched that fight at the MGM Grand, millions viewed it at their home through PPV, and millions wanted to have a look on that fight again. The difficulties of searching in the internet to see the Mayweather vs Ortiz video prompts the demand to watch the replay on HBO this Saturday.

We all know that HBO holds all the rights on that four round fight of Mayweather and Ortiz. HBO knows the need for the public to see it again and that HBO will replay the full length of Mayweather vs Ortiz on Saturday at 9:45 PM ET. The replay is only available for the subscribers.

The world knew already that Mayweather captured the title controversially through a cheap shot as what the experts said. Mayweather took that opportunity to knockdown Ortiz when he was unguarded. The fact that Ortiz was looking elsewhere that Mayweather released those punches undefended that cracked Ortiz.

After those punches, the crowd booed him unstoppably. Mayweather received criticism after the fight from the fans, media, and the whole world. However, Ortiz never did release any apology that the fans were looking for.

Mayweather stood by his opinion that he his shots were legal and that he didn’t break any boxing rule. He also talked about his opponent Ortiz being dirty in the fourth round because of that intentional headbutt. Mayweather won the fight with the world angry at him but he still ended standing with this principles.

Ortiz may have made the error in that intentional headbutt on Mayweather in the fourth round. Ortz felt that time that he was losing the bout because of Mayweather’s aggressiveness and power. If Ortiz played clean, the fight should’ve continued though many expected the Mayweather would eventually win.

Because of the “cheap shot” ending, millions of fans were not satisfied with the fight most especially those who paid just to see a great match.
