Manchester United vs Sunderland: Kickoff time, TV Coverage, Score
Manchester United vs Sunderland is just another game in the English Premier League that millions of people are looking for. The Red Devils will continue to chase to top spot on the table that is being occupied by Manchester City.
After a terrible 6-1 defeat from the hands of Manchester City, Manchester United eventually recovered from that debacle as they won three games in a row without yielding any goal, amazing! Going for the fourth victory will be special for Manchester United because the team also celebrates Alex Fergusson’s 25 years as manager of the team.
It will be a reunion for Fergusson as he will face his former player Steve Bruce who is currently the manager of Sunderland. There’s no other manager who knows better than Fergusson but Bruce. This game will be a chess match for both the managers. However, Fergusson knows that he doesn’t want to lose and even settle for a draw as Manchester United needs this game to keep pace with Manchester City.
Bruces respects Manchester United’s capability of getting the best players. As a matter of fact he signed some of the former players of Man Utd like Kieran Richardson, John O’Shea, Phil Bardsley, Frazier Campbell and Wes Brown. Bruce will have another shot at his former manager in winning this game.
Fergusson’s team must have its way against Sunderland while there are many players that will not be in uniform in this game. Ashley Young, Tom Cleverly, and Chris Smalling will miss this game against Sunderland. Patrice Evera, Michael Carrick are also doubtful to play. Fergusson has been in this position before taking care of a short handed rotation.
Meanwhile, after missing the Champions League, Nemanja Vidic will be in the uniform for the Red Devils. He will be a great component for Manchester United to make the plays to be victorious.
Expect Manchester United to play with determination as they play at Old Trafford. Yes, this is the place where Manchester City overpowered them. This is the first time also for the Man United to be back playing here. Without a doubt, Manchester United will showcase their offense against Sunderland and they will surely make it out for the fans.
