Lakers vs Heat: Start Time, Kobe or LeBron, TV Channel

January 19, 2012 -The Los Angeles Lakers will start their East Coast games tonight as they face Miami Heat in one of the most anticipated showdown of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Eversince James entered the NBA, experts then believed that he is better than Bryant. Statistically, James has the edge on Bryant but still the undeniable argument will always be the five rings of the Lakers superstar.

Slowed by his age? Bryant performs well at the early stage of the season becoming the No 1 scorer in the league as he scored at least 40 points in the last four of five games. He thrives well in the triangle but it seems that he is far better in the offense being installed by Mike Brown, former coach of LeBron. Bryant may have been slower last year but not this time of the year as he excelled in the offensive attacks of the Lakers.

Meanwhile, James currently follows Bryant in the scoring stats but he is a game time decision as he suffers from flu. Nonetheless, LeBron plays his best basketball in the first three quarters but he has to improve on how he has to deal with pressure. James averages 29.8 points this season and he can drilled in more points as his partner Dwayne Wade still sidelined by injury.

Kobe vs LeBron basketball game has always been a classic. Two players considered to have the moves and competitiveness of Michael Jordan will have a collision on Thursday Night at 8:00 PM. Furthermore, the Lakers will showcase their twin tower Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol against the weakness of Heat as they have only Chris Bosh. It will be a battle on the boards for Bosh as he matches up with Bynum who has been so dominant against the Mavericks landing 15-15 performance.
