Lakers vs Sixers: Game Time, TV Channel, and the suspension of Mike Brown
Winners and warriors at home, but losers on the road. The Los Angeles Lakers will give another try to hone their ability to win on the road as they face Philadelphia 76ers in tonight’s NBA game.
With already a third of the games played, Lakers are just 3-8 on the road that marred their record with only 14-10. Absolutely, this is Los Angeles team is just different from the past because the woes on the road are haunting them. Meanwhile, the 76ers continue to surprise the league as they maintain to play in such a way that they are not expected to do. Yes, the 76ers are the darkhorse in the Eastern Conference.
Kobe Bryant has the best of his career in terms of balance statistics in assist, rebounds, and points. He averages 29.4 points a game, 5.4 assists, and 5.9 rebounds to show to the world that he is not slowing down as his critics are telling that he is just one step slower. Bryant, however, is not satisfied with their performances on the road that will surely affect their chances.
For the first time in five years, the Los Angeles Lakers are having a hard time controling the Pacific Division. Of course there’s the emergence of the Clippers, but it is obvious that their record shows how desperate they are to play and win not in Staples Center only.
The new system probably takes the tool for the Lakers inability to sustain the effort and that all of them are in the process of adjustments. Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol have their numbers as far as the points and rebounds categories are concerned but their inability to win will determine their destiny.
The 76ers will rely on Elton Brand and Andre Igoudala to provide the fireworks offensively. It will be a test for the 76ers to come up with a game plan to stop Bynum and Gasol in dominating the boards. Sixers currently is the most improve team this season as they play great at home, 12-3 record, the best in the East. The Sixers know how to regroup after being defeated by the Heat and they followed it with a victory over Atlanta.
For the Lakers, Metta World Peace and Matt Barnes must have to come up big against the Sixers for the Lakers to have an opportunity to snatch the win in tonight’s NBA basketball game.
In this game, coach Mike Brown will not be on the sideline for he was suspended for a game without pay after making contact with an official last Saturday.
Lakers vs Sixers Game Time is at 7:00 PM ET at the Wells Fargo Center. TV Channel Coverage is available on KCAL and Comcast-Philadelphia.
