Kings vs Knicks:Jeremy Lin the king of New York?

In the NFL the New York Giants are the kings of New York but in the NBA Jeremy Lin is becoming the king of New York as he continuously satiates the minds of the people by his amazing performances in the last six games as the Knicks won it all. Knicks found a basketball “messiah” that Amare Stoudemire needs in order for him to make the greatest impact in this team.

Not even the Toronto Raptors could stop Lin when he drilled in a three to win the game yesterday night in Toronto that paved the way for the fans to admire the story of this American-Asian player who rises from pit to pinnacle. The Knicks were trailing 15 points at one time in the second half that Lin sparked a rally until they finally made some stops in the final minutes that capped up the game.

As a starter in the last five games, he averages a whooping 27.2 points, 8.8 assists per game and 50 percent shooting percentage. Lin tremendously gives life to the New Yorkers as he remains explosive in all of his six games so far. His rise is unbelievable that there’s something happening around the world which is called “Linsanity”. The Knicks showed yesterday that Lin and Stoudemire can co-exists and that they are a lethal combination.

Spectators are being stunned by the story of Lin that he has become a worldwide phenomena everything he leads his team into victory. Lin defied the odds from being undrafted to the peak of his career that even LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Kobe Bryant, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are talking about him. He has filled the sports headlines in the media not only in the United States but around the world. A fairy tale that everyone wants to continue.

Thousands upon thousands of articles have already been written about Jeremy Lin that his name has became a part of a household. To the Asians, it is worth the story for it portrays the current success of a hard working player. Well, from the couch of his brother to an apartment will enhance how the life of Lin was dramatically changed by his success in the basketball court.

Raptors tried to deny him that success by applying double team on top of the key but Lin evaded most of that kind of defense. He scored six consecutive points in the final minute to dismantle the Raptors and to put the dagger on the opponents.

Tyreke Evans has been the center of the offense of the Kings that he has to deliver the necessary blow against the Knicks.

With the help of DeMarcus Cousins who averages 16.3 points and 11.6 points per game, the Kings can make the statement that they are not a pushover team this season. Also in the lineup is guard Marcus Thornton who has been scoring 17.7 points per game average. Thornton can also put the defensive stands against Lin in this basketball game.

John Salmons and Jason Thompson are also needed to contain Stoudemire inside and that they will play significant roles defensively. Kings be dominant through their high-octane offense and that they can win this game.
