Jazz vs Lakers 2011,TV Channel, Start Time: Three games in three days, and three losses?

Three losses in three days? That’s what the Los Angeles Lakers are going to avoid. If not, then the lockout could have affected the team. Or probably the loss of Lamar Odom in the line up.

There are many speculations and analysis about the Lakers two losses. First they were beaten by the Bulls in a close game decided in the last seconds. Then last night they were overwhelmed by the Kings. Even though Kobe Bryant got his numbers in Sacramento by scoring 29 points, still the Lakers were unable to pull off the victory. Bryant has a team that relies on him in the scoring heavily. If this continues, the Lakers will be like the 2005-2007 team without chance of getting deep into the playoffs.

Ron Artest, ah, Metta World Peace added 19 points taking the sixth man for the Lakers. Not to mention the absence of Andrew Bynum who will be on his third game of suspension. Furthermore, Pau Gasol doesn’t have the game yet at his disposal. Probably he is affected also by the trade rumors that he couldn’t get over with, like Odom.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a team that couldn’t compete with the big teams but they can make things happens as the season progresses. With this roster, it would be impossible for the Lakers to be in the playoffs.

Coach Mike Brown made the assurance today that the Lakers will be in the playoffs. But the question will be how they will get there if they have to play catchup most of the times. It is not right for Brown to judge him after two games. It will take time for the Lakers to have a chemistry again. Of course most of the players are accustomed of playing within the boundary of the triangle offense but not this time with a new system to be installed.

Bryant, Gasol, Bynum, Artest, and Derek Fisher are the core of this team and they know how to get out of trouble at this early stage of the game. Fisher has been part in that negotiations to make it possible to have the season but his playing time will be affected because he is a step slower now than last season.

For the Jazz, this is another season in which they have to survive. With fresh legs, the Jazz will play their first game of the season. One of the teams with young rosters with Derrick Favors coming from the Nets.

Al Jefferson will be the main player that the Jazz will consider. Surely, Alec Burks, Enes Kanter, and Gordon Hayward will play significant time for the Jazz. We don’t know how they will play with these players.
