It is not too late for the Philadelphia Eagles to make the move up into the standings after an awful start. Considered as the most talented team in the NFL even giving a name “Dream Team”, the Eagles so far played mediocre winning only two of their six games.

Philadelphia made the noise in the pre season by acquiring big names most notedly Michael Vick. On the paper, the Eagles have the best players that can perfectly be in the Super Bowl but it is not going that way as of the moment.

Winning the first game against the Rams, the Eagles went on to lose four consecutive games after getting back to beat the Redskins two weeks ago. In that game against the Redskins, the Eagles defense pulled off a magnificent performance by having four interceptions. It was amazing because three of the four picks were from safety Kurt Coleman.

Eagles defense solved the problems as they stopped the running game of the Washington Redskins. Furthermore, Philadelphia’s defense was effective early from the start with aggressiveness and speed.

Running back LeSean McCoy rushed 28 times for 126 yards as he derailed the defense of the opponent. With the running offense of the Eagles, the team will become one of the most powerful offenses in the NFL.

Of course Michael Vick did his part by completing 18 of 31 passes for 237 yards with one touchdown. He easily found his targets like Jeremy Maclin who had five catches for 101 yards with a long 59 yard reception. DeSean Jackson also had three catches for 46 yards as one of the factors in the Eagles offensive attacks.

After a bye, Philadelphia is prepared in all aspects of the game against the Dallas Cowboys who themselves are in need of the victory. Expect for the Eagles to have the energy as they face their division rival.

If the Eagles have to win this game against the Cowboys, the running defense must always be present including that of Vick. Surely, it will be tough for the Eagles to play the Cowboys but this is another step for them to be back in contention.

As for the Dallas Cowboys, a new rushing star is rising in the name of Demarco Murray who rushed 25 times for 253 yards and a touchdown in the previous game against the Rams. He totally destroyed the defense of the Rams as he ran for a 91 yard touchdown, second longest in the NFL history.

Cowboys are still in contention in the division but their potentials are remain to be seen because this team is getting better each week. Quarterback Tony Romo completed 14 of 24 passes for only 166 yards and two touchdowns.

According to many spectators, Romo couldn’t make the passes in crunchtime that the Cowboys always suffered a defeat when the game is on the line. Romo couldn’t win games for the Cowboys when the game is tough.

Romo will have his receivers Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Laurent Robinson ready to navigate over the defense of the Eagles. With the receivers of the Cowboys ready to catch the passes of Romo, the Cowboys will be hard to beat.

This is the moment for Romo to show to the world that he deserves to be the Cowboys quarterback and that he can lead his team into victory. Expect also for Romo to completely manage the game in a high level avoiding mistakes.

For the Cowboys, the defense will be tested against the offense of the Eagles. They have to stop the rushing game of the Eagles also if they have to win this Sunday Night Baseball Game.
