1. SEC vs Big 12 – Admit it or not Southeastern conference is the best in the nation for six years. According to many experts, SEC teams have been dominant because of speed and athleticism factors. They have the robust players that have the advantage against other teams. Arkansas Razorbacks possessed the speed factor that can be advantageous for them against Kansas State. However, the Wildcats can pride themselves as the second best team in the Big 12.
2. Offense vs Defense- Kansas State flourishes because of their offensive game. The Wildcats will surely feature their offensive game through their quality players that will execute in manner of effectiveness. While Kansas has the offense, Arkansas has the defense that can contain it. It will be a test for the Arkansas defense if they can stop the high-powered offense of Kansas State.
3. Better than other BCS game? – Surely it will. Kansas State and Arkansas finished in the top 8 of the BCS Standings. These two teams have programs that are above the others. This can be a BCS game considering their record of 10-2. With many weapons to show, Cotton Bowl 2012 with Kansas State and Arkansas can end up one to be better than other games so far.
4. Kansas State quarterback – If there’s a player to watch in this game, it should be Collin Klein who can run and pass the ball. With his balance performances in the past, it is worth taking time to look how he will make things happen for his team. Will his passing game work and at the same time his running game? Klein is one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the nation and it will be great to see him play with such intensity.
5. High scoring football game – It is a high scoring game based on their previous performances. Kansas State will be playing with that offense that made them a high ranked team. Arkansas can score easily if other teams couldn’t control their offense. It can also be a low scoring game if Arkansas’ defense will put a clamp on Kansas offense.
