College Football Schedule Week 4: Arkansas vs Alabama marquee game
The marquee of College Football Week for schedule is the Arkansas vs Alabama duel which will be on Saturday at the Bryant-Denny Stadium. A tough test for the Alabama Crimson Tide to be back in national conversation again.
Alabama Crimson Tide failed to be in the BCS title last season but this time around, the team is ready to make another run. Alabama demolished North Texas in the previous game en route to 41-0 through the magnificent performances of tailback tandem Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacy.
Richardson carried 11 times for 167 yards while Lacy had 161 yards as he rushed nine times. With these players controlling the running game of Alabama, then other teams have to figure out how to defend them.
It is not only in the running game that Alabama flourishes, quarterback AJ McCarron completed 15 of 21 passes for 190 yards to in that game against North Texas. It would be difficult for Arkansas to defend both the rushing and passing game of Alabama.
On the other hand, Arkansas Razorbacks will have to be strong enough to win this Southeasthern Conference game. Quarterback Tyler Wilson still prepares himself for this marquee game in the college football.
Wilson completed 23 of 36 passes for 303 yards in the last game against Troy. Though he played significantly good enough for the team to win, but he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown that disappointed coach Bobby Petrino.
Furthermore, has to find a way to make this team better offensively against the tough defense of the Crimson Tide. Yes, this game has a national title playoffs implication. The winner will stay undefeated and usually in the last four years, the SEC winner always captures the national title.
Another game that makes this college football week 4 interesting is the Oklahoma State (#7) vs Texas A&M (#
in the Big 12 Conference battle. Of course these two teams has to challenge No1 Oklahoma State for the conference title. Oklahoma State has the offense to rely on in this game but we all know that Texas A&M has the defense to counter.
