Though Malcolm Floyd caught four catches for 43 yards and Ronnie Brown had 7 catches for 85 yards, the offense was not enough. In the running game, Ryan Matthews rushed 24 times for 95 yards.

The bright side of the Chargers is that they are second in the league in the rush defense. It is possible that San Diego can tame the rushing offense of the Chiefs in this Thursday Night Football. Moreover, the defense must also be effective in the passing game so that they will completely subdue Kansas.
