Celtics vs Heat 2011 score update, Battle of the Beasts of the East
Miami Heat cannot wait to be back in the NBA Championship series. Starting with so much intensity against the Dallas Mavericks showed that they are ready for another challenge. Though they have to begin to make each games a preparation for the playoffs.
With the top two players in the roster of the Heat, they will always be again a contender in the Eastern Conference. Yes, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade will always be partners in guiding the Heat into victories. However, both these players are in the learning curve to bring out the best of each other.
Miami Heat destroyed the Mavericks in the first game Sunday when they led 35 points in the third quarter. James dominated the game with 37 points, 10 boards, and six assists. Of course Wade played extremely great by putting up 26 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. These players showed urgency to prove to the world that they are ready to face all obstacles to get the ring.
Of course in this game against the Celtics, they will take different approach. Surely the Heat will have to give more the ball on the post with Chris Bosh this time to find out if he can outmaneuver the older one. Bush is the third star of this team and he exactly must raise up the level of his game for the Heat to be a champion. As Shaquille O’Neal mentioned that there is no “Big Three” in Heat, rather “Big Two”.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics will have to be aggressive using Rajon Rondo in both scoring and assisting in this game. Rondo has been the star for the Celtics as he drilled in 31 points, 13 assists, and five rebounds against the New York Knicks. Rondo is the anchor of this team and he must make the right decisions when the game is on the line.
As for Kevin Garnett’s game, he also is needed in the rebounding department though he is no longer as sharp in the offensive missing that shot against Knicks in the final seconds. Garnett garnered 15 points and eight rebounds in the game. Meanwhile, the outside shooting of Ray Allen will always be a factor but he also has to make those shots for the Celtics to win.
Expected to miss for the second consecutive game is No 34 Paul Pierce because of bruise heel. Pierce is needed to make this game competitive. There’s no James-Pierce matchup tonight.
Celtics vs Heat will always be a defensive game though they have the offensive firepowers to score. Celtics and Heat are known for their defensive mindsets and that this game will not probably reach 100 points for each team.
