With the good news on the continuation of the NFL, the name of Brett Favre appears to be in the headlines that captivates the NFL fans. It started when Howard Eskin of WIP-AM 610 said on his gig that the idea of pursuing Brett Favre as a backup when Kevin Kolb of traded is very possible.

The Philadelphia Eagles are interest on Brett Favre? Of course this story surprises NFL lovers once again because everybody knows that Favre played his last game under Minnesota Vikings uniform. We all know about Favre who always claimed to be retired but when given the opportunity he would retract from his announcements.

Well, the story was ran by The Inquirer that “A team source told The Inquirer that bringing Favre to Philly was a ‘long shot’ and that a “lot of things would need to fall into place” for it happen. For one, Favre may not even want to play football anymore, although he’s held the NFL hostage before with his will-he-or-won’t-he-retire act.”

Will Brett Favre play again? The 41 year old retired quarterback can still play but what will take place to make this thing to happen? Of course the possibility for Kolb be traded that the Eagles will be needing a backup. Secondly, Favre must accept the role of a backup because Michael Vick will surely be the starter. Because of Favre closeness to Eagles coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg who worked with him in Greenbay, Favre might be amenable to play in Eagle’s uniform.
