Bobby Petrino fired as Arkansas Razorbacks coach

Amidst the drama surrounding the crash in which coach Bobby Petrino is being investigated and scrutinized for lying, Arkansas has fired him today. With the a press conference on 7:15 PM CT, everything will be brought out as to the firing of Petrino. Petrino has been paid on admininstrative leave starting Thursday but revelation came out that he was with a 25-year old female school employee at the time of his motorcycle accident. Petrino earlier on his story has lied about being alone in the accident but police report told the whole world that he was not alone at that time.

Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long will tell us in his press conference the reasons of Petrino’s firing. Will it be about his continuous denial of being alone on the motorcycle? Petrino failed to disclosed that he had a passenger named Jessica Dorrell at that time of motorcycle accident. Absolutely, Petrino tried to hide about his relationship with Dorrell but still everything must be known and the whole world now knows the truth. Petrino is already married and has four children but this latest incident will absolutely ruin his life and even his marriage.

Petrino was released from the hospital last a week ago and that he was back to the practice. With neck brace and multiple lacerations, Petrino decided to continue his showing with the team. Furthermore, he was not wearing a helmet that time of crash at the Arkansas Highway 16 in Madison County in which a law does not require an adult rider to wear a helmet.

The story became interesting after finding out that Jessica Dorrell was riding with him. Petrino altered the course of the Razorbacks by posting a 21-5 record in the last two seasons. However, his morality will be the deepest thing that matters for the school. He may have the success in the football field but he must also be a model in the world of life worth living.

Arkansas cannot take a coach with continuity of lying. Surely, this is the right time for Arkansas to fire him to find a new coach the earliest possible. It will be devastating for the Hogs if they would fire him later.
