Destiny? Miracle? For Alabama and Georgia football, what a reward for their programs as the winner will be in the BCS National Title game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

For Alabama, this is a resurrection of getting back into the big game as the destiny of Nick Saban was totally out of his control when Texas A&M pulled off an upset over his team. However, just after a week, Oregon and Kansas Stated failed to make the necessary wins that paved the way for Alabama and Georgia to settle it out for the SEC Championship Game. Furthermore, the winner of the strongest conference in the last six years will have an opportunity again to be in the National title game.

For Georgia, what a big relief when everything is falling to their side. Losing their first game yet they never suffered any defeat after that will have a shot to be in Miami in January. Georgia Bulldogs are in a momentum as they were overpowering their opponents with big differences. Furthermore, Georgia is ready to battle against the defending champion as their level of morale is too high.

Quarterback Aaron Murray will be the key in this game for the Bulldogs. In the previous game against Georgia Tech, Murray pulled off a remarkable 14 of 17 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. Malcolm Mitchell caught three passes for 88 yards to help the Dawgs offense to flow extensively strong.

It is not only the passing game that excelled in that game but allso the rushing game of running back Todd Gurley who had 97 yards in 12 runs. Keith Marshall also dominated the rushing game as he attempted seven times for 66 yards.

Alabama Crimson Tide will have the luxury of a great quarterback AJ McCarron who completed 15 of 21 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns against the Auburn Tigers. He drilled in five passes to Amari Cooper for 109 yards. The passing game of the Crimson Tide will be the best weapon of the team but the rushing game will be an important tool also to move the chains. Eddie Lacy is the running back who can hit yet another 100 plus yards against the Bulldogs defense.

With the offense of Bama deadly, the defense also is one of the best if not the best in the country. The passing defense is yielding an average of 156.7 yards per game while the rushing defense is second giving up 77 yards per game. It is interesting to find out how the Crimson Tide defense will tame the offense of Georgia.

Surely, the battle of coaches cannot be neglected at all. Saban will push his Alabama so that he can get his fourth BCS title, what a remarkable accomplishment. However, Mark Richt is smart enough to bring the Bulldogs this far without the kind of defense that can level with Alabama. Georgia has taken card of the offensive line better than last season and it is because of Richt. It is clear that the path of Georgia to beat Alabama is to step up the gas like Texas A&M did. It is not as clear though if the Bulldogs have the personnel to do that.
