Falcons vs Jets Schedule: TV Channel, Kick Off Time, Preview

The Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Jets in one of the preseason games on Friday at 7:30 PM ET at MetLife Stadium.

The Atlanta Falcons pulled off a 31-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 of the NFL Preseason games. T.J. Yates completed 9 of 10 passes for 105 yards to lead the way for the Falcons. Matt Ryan, the starting quarterback, threw for 86 yards in 6 of 6 passes for 86 yards and one touchdown against no interceptions. Sean Renfree completed 6 of 7 passes for 68 yards.

In the receiving end, Julio Jones showed his worth by catching four passes and a touchdown for 61 yards. Justin Hardy added 41 yards in three receptions while Levine Toilolo added 36 yards. Jerome Smith rushed for 25 yards in seven attempts while Michael Ford added 20 yards in 11 attempts.

The New York Jets wanted a win after losing to the Detroit Lions 23-3 last week. Bryce Petty took most of the snaps as he went on to threw for 50 yards in 10 of 18 passes. Ryan Fitzpatrick was limited in appearance as he completed 2 of 3 passes for 16 yards.

In the receiving end, Walt Powell caught two passes for 13 yards while Brandon Marshall added 12 yards in a catch. Powell also was the leading rusher with 35 yards in eight attempts while Chris Ivory added 25 yards in six attempts.
