It’s really great to visit the ThunderBird Resorts in Poro Point, San Fernando La Union. As advertised, it is a world class hotel with golf course and even casino.
ThunderBird Resort is fantastic in a fact that it is one of the best hotels or arguably the best hotel in Northern Luzon. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible for you are smelling the breeze that comes from the South China Sea. As for the design, I have to admire it as you see in the image.
It is truly a first class hotel for their roomrates are costly. It is only for the rich people, I should say, that I couldn’t afford the prices. The rooms ranges from 8,000 Php - 20,000 Php. Their rooms are absolutely great.
The main attractions primarily is the golf course and secondly the casino. Thunderbird Resorts almost everything for a vacationer who just came from other countries.
If you happen to travel in the Philippines, ThunderBird Resorts is one of the best. With the scenic view of the sunset at South China Sea, you will enjoy your stay.

The way you decribe it looks like a five star resort hotel.The price range is more expensive than Shangrila Hotel in Mactan–10,300 pesos per night double occupancy with out golf course but just a putting chipping golf course.Free buffet breaktast of international cuisine.I hope your posting is not an hyperbole which will drive people away.The picture of the clubhouse is not even a real picture of the hotel.I strongly doubt if this is a five star unknown resort hotel in Philippines.Your price range is more expensive than the Marriott Hotel in Cebu which is 8,000 per night double occupancy yet not classified as five star but just standard category.What par is the golf course what are the amenities of the glubhouse and the hotel.I am not impressed with plantation Bay Resort but classified as five star which doesn’t meet five star rating—the lobby and over all maintennance can not meet five star—somewhat a rip off .

Yes, it’s a new resort in La Union and its gorgeous! It’s a Santorini Islands - inspired resort and the golf and hotel are way better than what you’d see in their photos. It’s best to go there!
