I mentioned in my entry that I had a game plan to top Google in 3 weeks. Here are factors that eventually dispatched Jezzlau’s entry on January 2 as I predicted. A gigantic change occured in January 3, I was winning. You can go through my game plan and look at the knockout punch.
1. The Power of ItsOnMyTV
I am lucky to purchase this blog from James Pegram. The blog is well optimized with plugins. All my natural backlinks from TVGuide.com and most especially from CBSNEWS.com are the jewels of this blog. Though it is PR0 because Google penalized it, the SERPS never changes. It was in a Google “sandbox”, if that is the right term, from September 6 to December 6. I have more than 15 PR4+ blogs to use for the entry but I knew that Itsonmytv would give me greater chances of winning.
2. The Power of Blogroll Links - First seven days
At the second day, my entry landed third in Google. I understood that it will not stay there so long without blogroll links. I used all my blogs. Here are the details: 4 PR5, 14 PR4, and 1 PR3, 3 PR0. Most of them are in the blogroll of this blog. Also, Rustom Hernandez added me in his Isulongseoph.org. I added my entry slowly, 5 blogs a day just to make sure my entry will not be shaken.
3. The Power of Blogposts -
Yes, blogposting still works. I made three different posts for all my blogs and I had the luxury to use Philip Tiangson’s 5 blogs and Giovani Castro’s PR5 blog. Again I wanted to make my entry fresh daily so I posted quietly and smoothly, 3 post a day done in the first week also.
4. My Knockout Punch– The Power of Social Bookmarking
I noticed that Jehzlau’s entry was very stable and it would be hard for me as I waited on the effect of the blogroll links and blogposts. I’d learned that there was one more way to beat Jezzlau. My knockout punch was the Social BookMarking. I learned in the “Paradise Philippines” SEO contest that everytime I bookmarked my entry, it went up to Top 5. Social Bookmarking is effective only in a given span of time. I thought I would see the result of the Bookmarks on January 2, instead January 3. The timing of bookmarking is very important before the checkpoint. Luckily, I did it right. Anyway, I used only 30 social bookmarking sites. I paid $3 for that.
I believe that the results of blogrolls, blogposts, and social bookmarking had joined together on January 3 to overthrow Jehzlau and go back to where he belongs, a distant place, in a planet called Marhgil Macuha.
Anyway, thanks Marhgil. I have money for my Scholars.

I could share what I did with the Yahoo winning.. but I would only make everyone laughs..
