Committed to the discovery and promotion of new talent through their website, events and competitions, The Smalls inspires and offers a medium where emerging talent can display work not only to fellow members of the contemporary creative community, but also to their subscription members in the broadcast, film and advertising industry. The Smalls is a curator of Independent short films where we can enjoy watching low- budget films.

In order to keep you motivated in making short films, the site have launched Short film contest. And the Smalls are delighted to announce the winning entries in The Smalls Showcase & Awards. the winner is the ‘Pound’ by Evan Bernard, ‘Toys’ by PAM won the silver, while ‘Diversion’ by Aidan Gibbons and Simon Reeves got the bronze. Give a round of hands to the SMALLS 2007 GOLD WINNER. Then go out there and do some “palm-to-palm-fist bumping-tops-to-bottom-face slap and knuckles-to-knuckles” yourself.

A special craft award for animation was given to ‘Clik Clak’ by Thomas Wagner, Victor-Emanuel Moulin and Aurelie Frenchinos. Some of the submitted entries were included in the showcase and will be available on the site. Short films, music videos and animation were screened from around the globe. The idea is to inspire creatives and expose the best talent.
