You know, Sunday night was so full of great shows I don’t know how the Donald is going to keep this one alive. It’s practically dead. After a knock down drag out in the board room last week this week we find the two teams setup to design swimsuits for fashion mogul Trina Turk. The task is simple, the team that sells the most swimsuits wins. Yeah, that turns out to be about as easy as washing cars.

First we have Kinetic Corporation, who won the car wash task last week. Working as a team they came up with conservative style that for the most part met todays fashion trends. I’m not sure I’d have bought any of their suits but I wouldn’t have been embarrassed to be caught dead in one.

Then we have Arrow Corporation, who narrowly lost last week because of team dynamics and failure to set a reasonable price point. Nicole is the project manager but right off the bat, Carey has his own ideas for what type of suits they should create and boy does he do a whopper of a job creating a pink, almost bikini style mens bathing suit that most golden tanned European dudes would be ashamed to wear. Aaron tries to explain to Carey at one point that since Carey’s gay, the suits he’s designing are probably not the same suits most men are going to wear. Carey disagrees and the team cedes to his ideas. During the fashion show Carey was chosen to model his pink suit and at one point Derek from Kinetic, who is also gay, said “What a shock it was. He’s got nipples erect, his fiercest runway walk, granted the guy looked good, but they needed to get a fire extinguisher on that runway, because he flamed it up, I mean on fire.” I’m glad Carey is confident enough to strut his stuff in that suit, but honestly, he just looked foolish.

In the end Kinetic won again making $20,111 compared to Arrow’s $19,616 in swimwear sales. Trina Turk said that Arrow lost because buyers didn’t like their mens line, gee you think. Selling roughly $300 in mens suits they really missed it. Trump took Kinetic on a trip to the Playboy mansion where they got a sit down with the “Huff daddy” and a Playmate party by the pool. Arrow got sent back to their tents in the backyard.

In the boardroom, the first thing Trump asked Arrow, “Do you people just like to lose?” With most nodding their displeasure Trump asks whose idea it was to have tight fitting suits. Nicole the project manager immediately throws Carey under the bus. Trump said to him “Do men wear..and I’m wearing a pink tie, so I guess I can’t say, but I don’t think I would ever wear a pink bathing suit. You know, there is a difference between a pink tie and a pink bathing suit in Trump world.” Carey continued to argue that any man would look good in that suit, but when asked most of the team felt Carey was too blame for the loss. With a couple of exceptions, one felt Nicole as project manager should be responsible and a couple felt Michelle was at fault. Nicole chose to bring those two back into the boardroom to determine who would be fired.

Trump again asked Carey who would wear the pink suit, while comically picking it up with a pen. Carey again continued to argue. At one point, Carey attempts to throw Michelle under the bus saying she should be fired because she had no input on price point. Trump didn’t buy it and it’s a good thing too, I’d hate think I could be fired for not having an input on my companies prices. Tiring of the debate with Carey who just wasn’t getting it, Trump says it appeared he ramrodded the design down everyones throat and both Michelle and Nicole agree. Despite his protests, Trump tells Carey he’s fired, who looks shocked it actually happened. Come on Carey, don’t you realize you were fired from the beginning. Trump was the cat just playing with the poor helpless mouse because it amused him.

In a new twist introduced prior to this task, and for winning this task, Kinetic gets to sit out the next one. Arrow will square off head to head to see if they can beat themselves.
